EXTREME OWNERSHIP
Extreme Ownership is just that - it removes all excuses from our minds and dismisses them as lies that we convince ourselves of. This book does a wonderful job of helping us to see that there are things within our control that we simply do not acknowledge. There is always something we can do better and improve on. Main Point: DISCIPLINE EQUALS FREEDOM.
Ryan Holiday
OBSTACLE IS THE WAY
This book takes historical examples of adversity and strife and how individuals that endured them used it to their advantage. If we approach life this way, we cannot be defeated. We learn that we are able to overcome adversity through the struggle we are going through. The seemingly impossible obstacle is, in fact, the way forward.
Marcus Aurelius
MEDITATIONS
One of the greatest philosophers of all time. We have a lot to learn still, but it is remarkable how applicable the things that were written about in the time of 161–180 CE still apply to us today. This book is just a diary of things that the most powerful ruler in the ancient world was thinking about and processing. Our ability to have a conversation with ourselves is a powerful tool and we see it on full display here. We can gain some serious perspective on how we are to live life from this book.

21 IRREFUTABLE LAWS OF LEADERSHIP
In this book, I learned the step-by-step ways how to increase my leadership ability and influence. This book made me understand that we are a leader to someone at all times. Whether it be at work, school, or at home. Someone is always looking to us in some shape or form, so with that knowledge, how do we use our interactions to lead others?
Stephen R. Covey
7 HABITS OF HIGHLY EFFECTIVE PEOPLE

LEADERSHIP, STRATEGY, AND TACTICS
This book is more of a manual. I pull this out whenever I am dealing with a difficult situation. It coaches on how to navigate through stressful, tense situations while maintaining the relationship between the people having a disagreement or whatever the case may be. It shapes the way you respond in every single situation you may come across in home life or work life. This is one of my top 5 recommendations to have in your bookshelf.
